A Real-Life Love Story
When Rebecca and Rob chose their venue, they dreamed of a day that felt like a warm, relaxed celebration with friends and family. Even though it was a crisp February day with a bit of drizzle in the air, the weather only added to the cozy, intimate atmosphere of their wedding.
The story began in the Hearth Room, where the candlelit tables beautifully complemented the natural light streaming through the windows—creating the perfect, warm glow for candid photos. For the ceremony, a string quartet played beautiful melodies, filling the space with an incredible ambience and setting a wonderful tone for the day. During the reception drinks, I moved quietly among the guests on the top terrace as the string quartet continued to play, capturing unposed embraces, good cheer, and laughter over glasses of fizz.
Because it was a rainy winter day, we kept a close eye on the skies. The moment we got a dry spell, we dashed outside to get some fantastic group shots with their closest family and friends. We even managed to sit out on the balcony, taking in the breathtaking views of the valley below while staying clear of the drizzle.
Later, we slipped away during a break in the weather for some relaxed couple portraits along the woodland boardwalk, letting Rebecca and Rob breathe and enjoy a quiet moment together. Afterwards, the energy shifted completely, and the evening erupted into a brilliant party with everyone hitting the dance floor for the evening dancing. The full 500-image gallery was delivered within two weeks, beautifully capturing every unscripted moment and leaving them ready for thank-you cards and social sharing.
